I’m an avid bird hunter – have been practically all my life hunting quail, pheasant, snipe, ducks and doves throughout the States.  But nothing I did in the United States compares with the pure shooting pleasure of dove hunting in Argentina.  Incredible is an understatement.  I was fortunate to be directed to Eduardo Martinez’s SyC Sporting and his estancia El Cortijo by good friend John Wiles. The shooting was truly fantastic, everything you could hope for.  Add to that the estancia itself: excellent lodging, a five star dining experience, open refreshments, and a hospitable staff making your experience relaxing and enjoyable.
Another plus is that El Cortijo is located just over an hour from the airport in Cordoba and the hunting fields (a different location each hunt) are located just minutes from the lodge meaning less time riding and more time shooting.
Based on my experiences with Eduardo, his staff and the facility I would recommend SyC Sporting and any of their estancias to everyone considering a hunting experience in Argentina.
