IRUPE

The beautiful IRUPE  lodge is located on the banks of the Parana River, 7km from the city of San Javier in Santa Fe province. You are first captured by the canopied drive, a canopy made of flowering vines that provide a wonderful fragrance and color to your entry. The refreshing grounds, complete with pool, lemon grove, and antique wagon, provide an enchanting background to you views of the Parana river and its 30 miles of marshes, channels, backwaters, and sloughs.

The Santa Fe region of Argentina, and particularly the area where Irupe is located, provides Duck, Partridge Hunting & Dorado Fishing within minutes for the lodge.  You will awaken early to a nice breakfast and then travel by boat 20 minutes or less to your duck blind located in a premier area for duck activity. You will return to the lodge for lunch or when your limits are filled, which may occur sooner rather than later. After lunch, you will head out again for partridge hunting, dove shooting, or dorado fishing, depending on the season. If your choice is fishing and the season is right, you can expect to catch Golden Dorado, Sorubim (from the catfish family) , and even a few Piranahs.
