Doves and pigeons in Sgo. del Estero
Doves and pigeons in the same area!
In Santiago del Estero (SdE), there are great numbers of doves and pigeons. The eared doves, the spotted wing pigeon, and the picazurro pigeon are all considered pests of plague proportion in this region of Argentina.
Unlike Cordoba and other provinces, in SdE, the doves and the pigeons coexist in the same wild scrub brush area. As a result, hunters can shoot both doves and pigeons near the roosts, on the feed lots, and at water hole areas.
This is a new and exclusive area for our hunters and our hunting concession covers over 100 thousand hectares of forestation, big cereal fields, roost area, and prime water hole locations.
Hunters fly into the SdE airport where they are met by SYC staff and driven to the lodging area.
